Spotted this beauty on my way home from work with @hpalmtrees today! It’s the first time I’ve seen this bus wrap driving around “in the wild.” It is probably the largest thing I’ve ever designed.

When I say “my” bus, what I really mean is "made with the @yuitcomms team,” especially @alaskacomms and @kaseabase

A huge amount of research about vaccination messaging went into this design over the last year. Hopefully, this bus will help friends & neighbors around here protect themselves from illness!

The inaugural Kaladi Brothers Holiday Cup design was inspired by gift wrap and the Danish concept of hygge. It featured custom, hand-drawn elements derived from the experiences and objects that make an Alaska winter feel so dang cozy. The bespoke seamless pattern emphasized the allusion to gift-wrapping paper through uniform scaling elements across cup sizes.

Named (and illustrated) in honor of La Bodega’s in-house brew connoisseur, the Good Times Oneobeer packs a fruity punch with a whopping 10.5% ALC/VOL. This tasty collaboration between @turnagainbrewing and @labodega.ak is a Belgian tripel base brewed with Sauvignon Blanc grape must.

This label (and all the other La Bodega goodness to come!) was made with the @yuitcomms team.

Man oh man — it is a JOY to share my work with friends and family. This weekend, 24 illustrations were on display at a family wedding in Kiawah Island, SC. I’m so glad I could participate in & contribute to the celebration through these mini works of art.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here — a lot of life changes have taken place since then. A week ago, Klaus and I celebrated one year of marriage (so I made this anniversary portrait)! In June, we moved to Alaska where I started as an Art Director with Yuit Communications.

I’m excited to see how KBell Media is shaped through this new season — it’ll look different, no doubt, but this little side gig has brought many “happy accidents” to my life so far I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Today, the Bell-Hanley fam is celebrating last day of the season for @mtspokaneterrainparks and @mtspokane . I’ve been working on this illustration of The Bus — the snow-buried, rusty warming hut where the park crew hangs out when they’re not raking or hitting the 50 footers on Lamonga — for a couple months. I’m so happy to see it in poster form, thanks to @mojoprintsolutions .

A couple weeks ago, I got an email from @bison_printing letting me know they received a few extra patches from the last order. Many of my coworkers at @worldreliefspokane have been itching for World Relief beanies and, because of a manufacturing error, I got to make their dreams come true!

Can’t wait to be repping such a rad organization on the slopes and beyond.
